Lose the crowd. To distance itself from the brand confusion in the mass-bike category and open new channels, Royce Union needed a big idea. With the client we conceived of a camouflaged rough-terrain sportsman bike, competing with ATV’s and motorcycles, targeting the serious sportsman in fishing, hunting and outdoor lifestyle publications with a strong call to action for a brochure. We named it "Camotrack", sold it to consumers through a print advertising / direct mail approach, with a financing program and a satisfaction guarantee. All production immediately sold out and inquiries and sales exceeded expectations.
